She was riding her bicycle to work on July 19, 2015, when a car ran a red light and struck her on her right side. The impact caused her to have paralysis from the waist down and a traumatic brain injury on the right side of her brain. Two days later, she underwent surgery to have 12 titanium rods placed in her spine. A week later, she experienced a stroke on the right side of her brain.

She is a multi-talented artist with a diverse range of passions. Being paralyzed after a life-changing accident in 2015, she has not let her disability hold her back. She has found new ways to show herself through various forms of art. As an artist, writer, speaker, singer, model, and dancer, she is a rising creative who has skills in salsa, bachata, ballroom, and tango. Based in Cleveland, OH, she is dedicated to sharing her talents with others. Her journey as a dancer began in her first wheelchair when she took her first official dance lesson at the age of 22. Her father, who taught her dance since she was young, played a significant role in her development as a dancer. She is grateful for the opportunity to share her passion for dance with others and is always eager to teach new movements and styles.
